Appearance: Bright and clear, the wine is of deep intensity ruby color, with legs.
Nose: Clean, with medium (-) intensity of black fruit such as blackberry, bilberry and plum, some ripe red fruit like oak notes of vanilla and cedar, MLF notes of cream, maturity notes of savory. The wine is developing.
Palate: Dry with medium acidity, the wine has medium tannin, sinewy and a bit grippy on texture. It has medium alcohol and medium body, showing medium intensity flavors of black fruit such as blackberry and plum, oak notes of vanilla and cedar, sweet spice of cinnamon. The wine has a medium finish.
Conclusion: Good quality St-Emilion with a nose that is a bit light, mainly fruit and oak driven without much complexity, the wine nevertheless is in balance and providing an easy-drinking style, with good structure though nothing standing out to give you a memorable experience. The palate is reasonably concentrated, with fair length, it is ready to drink now and can further develop for another 1-2 years.
